Definitions and Requirements
INTRODUCTORY LEVEL (IL), EQUIVALENT TO DIPLOMA & CERTIFICATE LEVEL:
1. The student is not require to have previous cross-cultural training.
2. The student has little or no experience among Muslims.
3. The minimum for these courses is 10 students, maximum of 50 (this only applies to the courses offered in September).
4. If the minimum number of students is not attained, the course will be cancelled and the student will be notified 15 days before the start of the courses in order to enroll for another. (This only applies to the September courses.)
ADVANCED LEVEL (AL), EQUIVALENT TO LICENSE LEVAL:
1. The student should have significan experience in working with Muslims.
2. The student has previously taken courses with IIbET, or with other centers with courses on Islam.
3. The minimum number of students for these courses is 5, maximum is 20 (this only applies to the September courses).
4. If the minimum number of students is not attained, the course will be cancelled and the student will be notified 15 days before the start of the courses in order to enroll for another. (This only applies to the September courses.)
CREDITS:
For the moment these courses are not for credit, because of which there is no formal evaluation of the course. Nevertheless, for the future programs being developed, there will be the option of receiving credits, both for courses already taken as well as for new courses which will be offerered.
